Hi, I’m K’breaun watkinS

Kei‎·Bree·aan

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and have been a Houstonian for several years. I love to travel and no city is too close or far to explore! I acquired many priceless lessons while studying abroad in West Africa during my Masters degree program at the University of Houston. Being able to feel and see the humanity in others, overcome fears of the unknown, and look forward to all possibilities was truly life changing. In addition to learning through academia, I continue to acquire knowledge by seeking my own development as a human being.

In my free time I enjoy listening to The Read, trying new cuisine (Houston is a foodie’s dream), and spending time with my wacky Frenchie.

There may not be much we can do to change the past, but we can certainly understand how these experiences shape us. I look forward to empowering you to make the changes for the future!

In my professional career, I’ve supported teens and adults from diverse backgrounds in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked with individuals in learning to manage various challenges such as:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Loss

  • Women issues

  • Self-esteem and self-acceptance issues

  • Career and life transitions

  • Family concerns

  • School/college student concerns

  • Chronic illness/new medical diagnosis

  • Military transition issues
